Privacy policy
How we handle your personal data when you visit this website, send an inquiry or book a stay. Last updated: 2 October 2026.
Who we are
Nastanitve za krajši čas, Marko Jaklič s.p., Na griču 7, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (VAT ID SI64230678) is responsible for your data. Contact: info@forestfarmstay.si, +386 41 603 443.
What we collect and why
- Inquiries: your name, email, phone, dates, number of guests and message, to answer you and prepare an offer (your consent, and steps before a contract).
- Bookings: the details needed to make and manage your stay, including the guest registration data that Slovenian law requires (contract and legal obligation). Bookings run through our booking system, Bentral; payments are handled by the payment provider shown when you book.
- Website visits: our host keeps technical server logs (such as IP address, browser and pages visited) for security, for a short period.
- Cookies and storage: we only use what the site needs to work, such as your language and your last booking search, which stays on your device for a day. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
Who receives your data
Our booking system (Bentral), our website and email host (KnownHost) and, where the law requires, the authorities (guest registration and tourist tax). Our host may process data outside the EU; such transfers rely on safeguards recognised by EU law, such as standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries: up to 12 months, unless they lead to a booking.
- Bookings and invoices: as long as the law requires (invoices for 10 years).
- Server logs: for a short period, for security only.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a copy to take elsewhere. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to info@forestfarmstay.si. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (ip-rs.si).
